TEANECK, NJ — The Teaneck Board of Education has officially launched a six- to 12-month search process to find a permanent successor for outgoing Superintendent Dr. Andre Spencer.

Spencer, who announced his resignation on June 15 to take over as superintendent of the Willingboro School District in Burlington County, officially departs this August. In the interim, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Angela Davis was appointed to lead the district effective July 15.
