Reader says , the Town should be sued for neglect of the Three Municipal surface Parking lots dangerous conditions in the commercial center of town. The trip and fall lawsuits must be stacking up in dark winters.

So very true it’s on the parking lots are so far gone that they need to be reconstructed. The Mayor is too busy spending Village municipal tax payer dollars on cleaning up debris and deadwood at Schedler to benefit her and her neighbors.Apparentyly the deadwood posed a hazard to people using the property. In addition to repaving the municipal lots, why hasn’t the underwater toxic plume at the old Town Garage been cleaned up? Isn’t that a hazard to more residents than fallen branches at Schedler? #SelfservingSue

Owners of the Town Garage need to clean that hideous environmental mess up. It is a huge eyesore and more importantly a public health threat. The tax collector’s office knows who owns it – was it abandoned because of the cost of clean up? Taxpayers should not have to pay for this.
