Ridgewood NJ, December 2nd – 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. – East Ridgewood Avenue, from Maple Avenue to Broad Street – The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Downtown for the Holidays – Come to the East Side, the West Side, and all around the Central Business District for this family friendly annual event, where the streets are closed to vehicles on East Ridgewood Avenue, creating a pedestrian plaza from North Maple Avenue to Broad Street.

There will be Village Trucks on Holiday, from all Village Departments, decorated for the holiday season; make your own s’mores at the fire pits and take a picture at the snow globe in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square with the Village Recreation and Fire Departments; ski movies will be shown on a big screen on Walnut Street, courtesy of Mount Everest Ski Shop; ride the trackless train in front of the park; come and see The Grinch with the Ridgewood Police Department; listen to the bands; go through the decorated pedestrian tunnel to the West Side, for more decorated trucks, bands, and a Kid’s Corner with arts and crafts, sidewalk chalking, Elf on the Shelf, and Venture Studios taking free pictures; see Santa Claus in various locations throughout the evening. Dancers will appear in store windows, and there will be choral groups throughout the CBD. The Ridgewood High School Marching Band will roam throughout the pedestrian plaza. Take a picture at the Christmas tree, which will be lit at 6:15 p.m., located at the corner of East Ridgewood Avenue and Broad Street, so that you can remember this wonderful evening, as you enjoy the holiday spirit in Ridgewood’s Central Business District.
Santa will be available to hear everyone’s Christmas wishes on December 3rd – 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – at Columbia Bank, 60 South Broad Street You can also visit with Santa at Santa’s House, located in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square, on the following days and times:
December 3rd – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
December 7th, 14th, and 24th – 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

It’s a street closure with a bunch of trucks decorated. So lame. Someone needs to retire.
I know same old dance. Can’t the chamber come up with something new. It’s nice, just needs something else.
