Bergen LEADS is an exciting, 10-month learning and leadership adventure for adults who live or work in Bergen County. Interactive, fast-paced and experiential, Bergen LEADS will open your eyes to the community – and yourself.
Monthly seminars challenge participants to dissect issues, debate viewpoints and develop approaches to community problems, most notably through an annual class project and Public Forum. A robust leadership curriculum, coupled with individual assessments and executive coaching, fosters the personal and professional growth of each participant.
Alumni of Bergen LEADS (ABL) stay informed and connected through service projects and social activities. They share their expertise as mentors, speakers or site visit hosts, raise scholarship funds and recruit/screen applicants– all the while furthering their involvement in the civic life of our community.
