The Valley Hospital Ranked Among the Best Hospitals in New Jersey

Ridgewood NJ, the Valley Hospital has been ranked among the best hospitals in New Jersey by U.S. News & World Report for 2023-24, placing third on the list of 73 New Jersey hospitals that were evaluated. Valley also achieved an overall rating as the 17th best hospital in the entire New York metropolitan area.

In addition, The Valley Hospital achieved the highest possible rating of “high performing” in 15 adult procedures and conditions, including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, hip fracture, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, lung cancer surgery, pneumonia, stroke, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Valley was also recognized as high performing in the adult specialty of orthopedics.

The U.S. News & World Report analysis of hospitals includes nationwide data from across multiple clinical specialties, procedures, and conditions. Rankings are based on patient outcomes, patient experience, a variety of care-related factors, and expert opinion obtained through physician surveys. These distinctions are the result of U.S. News evaluating the data of more than 4,300 hospitals across the nation.
