In addition, The Valley Hospital achieved the highest possible rating of “high performing” in 15 adult procedures and conditions, including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), colon cancer surgery, diabetes, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, hip fracture, hip replacement, kidney failure, knee replacement, lung cancer surgery, pneumonia, stroke, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Valley was also recognized as high performing in the adult specialty of orthopedics.

Rankings are based on patient outcomes, patient experience, a variety of care-related factors, and expert opinion obtained through physician surveys.
