Woodcliff Lake NJ, A devastating single-car accident late Saturday night claimed the lives of three Woodcliff Lake residents. The crash occurred just before midnight on the Garden State Parkway in Woodbridge Township, according to local authorities.
Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos A. Rendo expressed his sorrow in a Facebook post, stating, “I just received word of this terrible tragedy. I have ordered that our flags be lowered. I am in shock. Please keep the family in your prayers.” Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali said in a post on Facebook, “This is devastating news! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.”
New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan confirmed that troopers responded to the scene at 11:55 p.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle, a Tesla Model S driven by 54-year-old David Dryerman, veered off the road, hitting a sign, a guardrail, and a concrete bridge support.
Tragically, both Dryerman and his two passengers—Michele Dryerman, 54, and a 17-year-old girl—lost their lives in the crash. The identity and relationship of the minor to the adults have not been disclosed by authorities.
Sgt. Marchan noted that the investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
