Fair Lawn NJ, late Thursday evening, July 11, a tragic road rage incident on Berdan Avenue in Fair Lawn escalated into violence when an elderly male passenger from one of the involved vehicles exited to speak to the other driver and was allegedly run over intentionally. The victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus. Fair Lawn EMS, assisted by a paramedic team from The Valley Hospital, provided emergency medical care on the scene.
Fair Lawn Police patrol officers swiftly located the other driver and vehicle involved at a nearby residential address, less than a mile from the accident site. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries and the hit-and-run nature of the incident, a full-scale investigation was immediately launched with the assistance of Bergen County law enforcement agencies.
The investigation aims to uncover the circumstances leading to this tragic event and ensure that justice is served for the victim. Authorities are working diligently to piece together the events that led to this senseless act of violence. Further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
