  1. How come the village council doesn’t welcome any other new hires in other department ‘s .
    Very interesting.

  2. Who are they related to??

  3. To long time resident: the Village Council couldn’t care less about the staff. They don’t even have the courtesy to say hello. Their pizza appreciation parties are a joke. Mayor and council, if they even attend can only be bothered to speak to department heads.

  4. Welcome to the new Officer and Firefighter. Good luck and stay safe. (see how it’s done)

  5. So very true they don’t care about the workers, they’ll talk to the department heads and they’ll give them some bullshit story. Talk to the real workers to get the real stories.

  6. The pizza party please what a joke. You are right but a bunch of hypocrites. Call pizza and warm soda. And that’s if they don’t run out.I’m glad I retired.

  7. Congratulations and thank you for serving. Much appreciated

  8. That’s a shame that other departments don’t even get any kind of attention from the top.
Wow talk about being lower then whale poop.

  9. The paid career FD needs to be phased out..stop with the hiring. Every other town around us does just fine with volunteers. And I have fire insurance. I don’t need these basement savers mooching off my dime.
