Ridgewood NJ, on Monday a group of volunteers, led by members of the Ridgewood Shade Tree Commission, hit the streets of Ridgewood ‘s Central Business District to weed and clean up litter downtown. The group of volunteers was joined by the Village Manager Keith Kazmark. Ridgewood High School students ; Alex, Travis, Jack and Henry were a huge help, along with all who lent a helping hand.

Kids need to stay busy and off their phones.
Before 16 they can’t get paying jobs….. I say harness their energy and utilize them for even more projects around town…. but communicate more so that others can get involved.
Is making a good example, now we need to get supervisors of their asses and do the same, instead of riding around brand, new SUVs in air conditioning . It’s ridiculous. Do some work get out there and fill some potholes.

The new manager should see what the supervisors are doing on a daily workday. He would not be happy with some. They all should be working together with the crew.
What a joke.
For that kind of $$$ I would be cleaning every street in town by hand. But a village manager is supposed to have a plan, manage daily operations, ensure effectiveness and efficiency of town resources etc. It is a beautiful position if you’re not tied to somebody’s else interests which this guy for sure is. I am not expecting much from him.
