We have sadly lost 1,261 Bergen County residents to COVID-19, of those 724 Deaths were reported by Long Term Care Facilities

Hackensack NJ, As of 12pm Tuesday, May 5, 2020, there are 16,504 total presumptive positive cases identified in Bergen County as per the CDRSS system; impacting all 70 municipalities. ** As of today, 63 Long Term Care (LTC) facilities in Bergen County report at least one presumptive positive case as per NJDOH.

We have sadly lost 1,261 Bergen County residents and our County mourns their loss and offers condolences to their loved ones; we continue to grieve as a community for the precious lives lost.

**Please note that numbers may vary due to multiple reasons such as varied reporting times from both the State and local municipalities; as well as pending case verifications and/or county attribution by NJDOH as noted below.

  1. They were sitting ducks….fortunately we got our mother in law out in November.

  4. Just wondering what are they doing for police and fire are they rotating the staff split shifts which is it. I know somethings going on ,how the controlling The staffing.
