    1. Agreed. There is ZERO enforcement. All talk; no walk. Hire some college students part time to ride around. They could pay their salaries by taking photos of offenders.

      1. Mayor Paul Vagianos has publicly expressed his opposition to the issuance of summonses for these types of offenses. now that everybody knows that, they are watering at Will without fear of any reprisal.

        1. just like shoplifters in San Francico

  2. The silly thing is getting it notarized. And need to do every year.
Town used less water from 2 am to 5 am since all stores closed and everyone’s sleeping.

  3. Water every day

  4. Livingston, the municipality from which our current Director of water came from, has an online registration system for smart controllers. No requirement for a notarized signature. Ridgewood should be doing the same thing.

  5. Welcome to the Big Brother Police State…

  6. I will irrigate whenever I want. I pay for the water and flowers and vegetation are part of my quality of life. Those who consider this as stealing are NUTS. I do not care for “smart” devices. I have an old fashioned irrigation control box and will use it at will. When I see that this town is really trying to fix the quality of water then I will make an effort to be more considerate.

  7. Next up… requirements to register your smart toilet….
