The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office became aware of the alarming social media post on December 6, 2024. The comment, shared on TikTok, warned of a planned attack on the college scheduled for December 16.

Law enforcement, including the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and local police departments from New Milford, Woodcliff Lake, and Waldwick, quickly launched an investigation. A search warrant executed at the juvenile’s residence on December 13 led to the arrest.

After being processed, the juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian. The case will proceed under the jurisdiction of the Bergen County Superior Court Family Law Division.
