Ridgewood NJ, Today Mr. Vito Bari, Branch Manager of the Blue Foundry Bank at 55 North Broad Street in Ridgewood, presented a $1500 donation from the bank to the St. Paul’s, Paterson, Food Pantry. The Pantry Manager, Kimberly Arias, was overwhelmed. The Food Pantry, which is just minutes from Ridgewood, will use this money to help keep the shelves stocked, a challenge that has been increasingly difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many thanks to Blue Foundry!
St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation (SPCDC) Food Pantry began as a volunteer project of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in 1970. It has since outgrown its closet-sized beginnings and now encompasses a large space in the undercroft of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, maintaining an industrial freezer, accepting fresh vegetable donations daily, and maintaining a leadership role as one of the largest distributors of donated food in Passaic County, NJ.
