Cresskill students going back to school for first time in over 2 years following $21M referendum

Cresskill NJ, Cresskill’s Middle School/ High School that was flooded by tropical storm Ida, will reopen and be ready for students to return on the first day of school on September 6. A ribbon-cutting will be held to welcome everyone back.. Cresskill students are finally going back to class inside their high school and middle school for the first time in over two years. The town approved a $21 million referendum for repairs after Tropical Storm Ida inundated the school with 3 feet of water leaving it unsafe.  Parents of the 1,000 students formed the group “Get Cresskill Kids Back to School” and took their fight to Trenton trying to get the governor’s office to speed up reparations in December.

Cresskill Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized

Cresskill NJ,  according to the Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella , a man was hospitalized after being found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting that occurred at 8 p.m. on Thursday at 10 Center Street in Cresskill.

County to Provide 9-1-1 Communications Services to the Borough of Cresskill

Cresskill NJ, at their March 16th public meeting, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners officially authorized a shared services contract with the Borough of Cresskill to provide the Borough with 9-1-1 communications services for a period of five (5) years. This agreement is part of Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco and the Board of County Commissioners’ vision of offering County services to Bergen County’s 70 municipalities to increase efficiency and provide savings to taxpayers.

Police ID Cresskill Man Killed In Palisades Fiery Parkway Crash

Cresskill NJ, New York State police responded to the one-car accident near Exit 10 on the Palisades Parkway after 11 a.m. Saturday  .The driver was the only person in the car and was declared dead on the scene . New York State police have identified the driver who died on the Palisades Parkway Saturday in a single-car crash as Jyung Hahn a resident of Cresskill, New Jersey.

Lim received her invitation from the National YoungArts Foundation after becoming a 2021 YoungArts Finalist in Classical Music, the highest honor the foundation can confer.

NWAKANMA (DOB: 10/01/1990; single; health aid) of 7395 Woodview Street, Westland, MI on a charge of theft by deception.  The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love; the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Anthony Cureton; the Cresskill Police Department under the direction of Chief Edward Wrixon; the Westland, MI Police Department under the direction of Chief Jeff Jedrusik; and the Wayne County, MI Sheriff’s Office under the direction of Sheriff Raphael Washington.

Cresskill NJ,  A Bergen County, New Jersey, man today admitted concealing assets from a bankruptcy trustee, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig announced.

Victor Osorio, 53, of Creskill, New Jersey, pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Judge Kevin McNulty to an information charging him with one count of bankruptcy fraud.
