Englewood NJ, on Sunday night May 7th , the Englewood Police Departments received a report of two persons shot by a pellet gun while crossing East Palisade Avenue . In an event eerily similar to a pellet gun attack in Ridgewood ,the Englewood Police department commenced with a thorough investigation and by 11 am the next morning the Englewood Police had taken a suspect into custody . The suspect was charged with two counts aggravated assault, as well as possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.

Englewood NJ, on Saturday May 6th Englewood Fire companies were dispatched to the 400 Block of North Woodland Street for a report of a person trapped under a vehicle. Firefighters found a car lift in a private home collapsing and an occupant trying to keep it from falling further. Members placed two Paratech struts to stabilize the load and make it safe. The building department was notified and a full platoon recall was requested while companies operated.

Englewood NJ, on Monday January 2nd at approximately 4:30am Englewood Police officer Sargent Byron Aguayo who was off duty at the time and heading to work , observed two suspicious individuals in a residential area . Sargent Aguayo continued to keep an eye on them when he witnessed them enter a private driveway where they burglarized a vehicle. Sargent Aguayo requested assistance and uniformed Englewood Police officers responded and detained the individuals. Subsequent to an investigation the individuals one adult and one juvenile were arrested and changed with several counts of burglary ,theft and receiving stolen property .

This environmental leadership program leads high school students in researching the effects of climate change in their own communities and finding ways to combat the problem locally.
The online program is offered free of charge by the Stanford University Deliberative Democracy Lab and the Rustic Pathways Foundation.

Englewood NJ, after receiving an anonymous tip that an individual was in possession of a firearm , on December 2nd at approximately 630pm Englewood Police officers investigated a suspicious individual at Wides Corner Englewood Police Officers Kim, Washington and Iacovo were first to make contact with a person fitting the description provided. Moments later the male fled and police gave chase , throwing a bag into an empty lot. Englewood Officers Donegan, Smith and Lt. Londahl-Smidtwere were in the area and assisted in taking the male into custody . Officers retired the bag which held a loaded handgun with a high capacity magazine .
