Ridgewood NJ, SAG-AFTRA leaders conveyed a celebratory message, commending the hard work and sacrifices of their members during the recently concluded Hollywood strike. In the statement released Thursday afternoon, the guild informed actors that, “effective immediately,” they should fulfill their contractual obligations and resume work. Members are now allowed to promote their projects without restrictions. The message expressed gratitude to other Hollywood unions for their support during the nearly four-month labor stoppage. SAG-AFTRA declared victory in the strike, stating, “We did it! Our historic TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike is over as of 12:01 AM this morning.” The announcement marks the end of a significant chapter in the negotiations between the guild and industry stakeholders.

Toms River NJ, New Jersey native and Toms River-born filmmaker Frank Zarrillo is set to release his latest documentary film, “Gaspari.” The distribution rights for the film were acquired by Generation Iron, the #1 Fitness and Bodybuilding New York-based media company, with a release date set for November 3, 2023. The documentary premiered last year at Kevin Smith’s inaugural “Smodcastle Film Festival” in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.
