Midland Park NJ, tragedy struck Midland Park on Friday evening, at approximately 7:09 p.m.,  October 11th, when a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run at the intersection of Godwin Avenue and Witte Drive. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson after being transported by the Midland Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Permits are needed for paving or resurfacing the top layer of driveways in the Borough. The employees will explain that they will get a permit in the next few days, but they will not. Work performed is often subpar and it will be very difficult to contact the company when issues arise. Please use caution when dealing with unsolicited companies showing up at your door.
