Jersey City NJ, earlier this week, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) held a celebration honoring 18 bright, young New Jerseyans, who he nominated and were all accepted this year into the four U.S. service academies. The nominees were joined by their family, friends, and the academy screeners who recommended them for nominations. The ceremony took place in the senator’s Jersey City office.

The Attorney General’s Office is investigating the death of a driver and a passenger of a motor vehicle who were fatally injured in a motor vehicle accident yesterday, May 10, 2022, after two Montclair police officers attempted to stop the vehicle on Bloomfield Avenue. The identities of the male decedents and a third injured individual are not being released at this time.
