Paramus NJ, Paramus Police were searching Friday for a suspect they say robbed the Citibank at 700 Route 17, northbound, near the Fashion Center shopping mall. According to police the suspect entered the bank at about 1:48 p.m. Friday and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash from a drawer. The suspect then fled on foot toward the Fashion Center mall, which sits across a parking lot from the bank.

Paramus NJ, Ryan Scully, a third-year student-athlete at the Bergen County Community College , was informed by his coach earlier this month that the college will not resume athletic activities for the remainder of the school year. Scully started this petition to bring athletics back to Bergen Community College.

The vaccination site will be reopening, Tuesday, February 23rd for those with a valid 2nd dose appointment confirmed for either Monday, February 22nd or Tuesday, February 23rd. For those with a Monday, February 22nd appointment, you may also choose to come on Wednesday, February 24th for your 2nd dose. Paramus NJ, Paramus Police and Paramus Fire Department responded to the 700 block of Arbor Road on Tuesday night, 02/02 in response to a telephoned report of a completely collapsed single family home. Arriving units determined that a vacant structure scheduled for demolition had fully collapsed, seemingly due to the weight of snow on its roof. No injuries were reported in the incident. A sub code official from the Borough of Paramus’ Building Department “red tagged” the property.

Paramus NJ, The New Jersey State Police and Division of Criminal Justice have charged nine suspects who were allegedly targeting high-end vehicles in New Jersey and New York that were to be shipped and sold overseas as a result of an 11-month investigation, which linked suspects to 22 stolen vehicles valued at more than $966,000 and resulted in the seizure of more than $133,000 worth of drugs.
