Founded in 1944, the mission of our organization is based on three main pillars – family, friends, and community. We address the needs of the scholastic experience of Somerville and Hawes Elementary Schools. This is done by assisting in the provision of goods and services which often fall outside of the normal Ridgewood Board of Education budget. Another key element of service is helping to support members of our local community during times of crisis.

These grants are intended to offset the costs associated with conducting feasibility studies that explore the potential advantages of school district regionalization or consolidation.
