The Ridgewood High School Stadium field Has Reopened

Ridgewood NJ, at Monday ‘s Ridgewood Board of Education meeting Dr. Gorman thanked the maintenance and grounds crews who facilitated getting the fields back in shape. The Ridgewood High School stadium field was reopened on Sunday following the completion of the most recent cleanup, and Stevens field is expected to be operational by the end of this week.

Ridgewood NJ, Tech entrepreneur Dave Duffield (RHS ‘58), a pioneer who helped shape the software industry and founder of innovative companies including Workday, PeopleSoft and Ridgeline, is giving back to his high school alma mater in support of a substantial STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) Initiative. The Ridgewood High School Alumni Association (RHSAA) presented the Board of Education with a $635,000 gift from the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation at the regular public meeting on May 10, 2021. This grant, which is the result of the development efforts of the RHSAA, is the largest, single donation awarded to Ridgewood High School in the district’s history.

Ridgewood NJ, so far we have not heard about this from any of our local school districts , including Ridgewood but its something to keep an eye on . The New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) continues to observe efforts by cyber threat actors to compromise email accounts in the education sector in order to launch phishing campaigns with the intent to steal sensitive information, compromise account credentials, or conduct subsequent cyber operations against others in the education sector.

Emotional burnout is a condition that can also be described as emotional exhaustion. This is what the student may not know about when he remembers himself:
  • Permanently tired, emotionally exhausted, and disheartened;
  • unhappy with his studies, as well as with the people who are withdrawn.
  • Frustrated, anxious;
  • Disappointed in their professions;
Sometimes in such a state, young people may begin to blame themselves for loneliness, have more doubts about themselves, and squeeze the maximum out of themselves. But such behavior only increases emotional depreciation.

Help the Ridgewood Eagles Robotics Team Go To an International Competition

Ridgewood NJ,  Eric Zhou  a 7th grader at George Washington Middle School is part of a robotics team called the Eagles. They are a group of innovators ranging from the ages 9-to 13 and they are competing in the First Lego League competition. This year, the team came in first place in the Mount Olive regional competition. Then, they came in second place in the NJ state competition. Because they came in second place, they were invited to an event called the FLL Razorback Invitational.
