All Grass Fields in the Village of Ridgewood will be closed Thursday October 3, 2024 for Maintenance

Ridgewood NJ, according to Village Manager Keith Kazmark,  all grass fields in the Village of Ridgewood will be closed tomorrow, Thursday October 3, 2024 for annual maintenance; application will be made for the prevention of grassy weeds and broadleaf. On Thursday, October 10, 2024 Maple Field will be closed for biannual turf grooming.

Gold Star Families Monument is unveiled and dedicated in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, after much debate and delay the Gold Star Families Monument is unveiled and dedicated in Ridgewood . The Village of Ridgewood council was accompanied by State Senator Kristin M. Corrado (R), State Assemblyman Christopher P. DePhillips (R), Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D) and American Legion Post 53 Commander Bob Paoli  . Councilmembers Mayor Paul Vagianos, Deputy Mayor Pamela R. Perron ,Councilmember Evan Weitz ,  and Councilmember Siobhan Winograd we also in attendance .

Lodi Man Charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault

Lodi NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 33-year-old JUNIOR REYES-TEJADA of Lodi, NJ on charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Lodi Police Department under the direction of Chief Donald Scorzetti.

Ridgewood NJ, members of our staff were falling off their chairs shocked on Wednesday night when Ridgewood Mayor Paul Vagianos publicly disparaged the NJDEP during a Village Council meeting. Mr. Vagianos openly expressed his displeasure with how “slow” NJDEP conducts business. We know he said it once during the meeting, and we believe he may have said it a second time.
