Ridgewood NJ, October 6th – 8th – The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce presents Sidewalk Sale Days – There will be a variety of bargains for sale. If there is bad weather, the sale will be held inside the stores.  The Mom’s Club will also hold an Arts & Craft Activity Fair for young children at Memorial Park at Van Neste Square on October 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a rain date of October 9th.

The Ridgewood Art Institute Instructors’ Exhibition October 9th – November 3rd, 2022 daily 10am-3pm

Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Art Institute is a prominent player in the perpetuation of Classical Realism today and is considered one the nation’s best community art associations. It’s origins are based in the 19th Century French Barbizon School and it is closely tied to The Art Students League’s history, as there are many esteemed artists who have taught and studied at both RAI and ASL.

The Ridgewood Art Institute Instructors’ Exhibition features beautiful still lifes, florals and landscapes and will give art enthusiasts a wonderful sampling of the quality of work available for sale at our events. For art students this is a wonderful opportunity to explore the possibilities of starting either a new class or a new medium in one of our beautiful studios.

Ridgewood NJ , on October 1st the Bamboo House celebrated 35 years in Ridgewood . October 1st. It is the second oldest restaurant in the Village of Ridgewood after Daily Treat . Sherry was a single mom from Taiwan who didn’t speak English when she arrived.  Wow, 35 years in business is quite an achievement and an amazing success story !

Ridgewood NJ, Fitch Ratings  Fitch Ratings has affirmed the ‘A+’ rating on approximately $356.4 million series 2019 revenue and refunding bonds that were issued by the New Jersey Health Care Facilities Financing Authority on behalf of Valley Health System Obligated Group (Valley). Fitch has also affirmed Valley’s ‘A+’ Issuer Default Rating (IDR).

Anniversary Concert Upper Ridgewood Community Church

Ridgewood NJ, on Saturday, October 1st, 3 p.m. the Upper Ridgewood Community Church will celebrate its Post-100th Anniversary with a concert themed, Songs of Heaven and Earth. There will be choir, instrumental, organ and solo music, followed by a wine and cheese reception in the Easton Great Room. A special anniversary booklet and a Christmas ornament will be given out to mark the occasion. A freewill offering will be taken to defray the cost of the celebration. Plan to attend and invite a friend.
