UPDATE: Village of Ridgewood Time Limit for the Removal of Political Signs ,Point of Contention

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Village Council have decided not to tweak  the municipal law regulating election signs .The local law imposes time limits, ” all campaign signs must be removed no later than 20 days after the General Election.” The time limit for the removal of political signs is the point of contention.

Love is one of the most powerful and mysterious emotions in the world. It can make people do crazy things, and it often seems to defy reason. But what is love, really? And how do we choose our partners?

Triangular theory of love

The Triangular Theory of Love is a theory that claims that human beings can love one another in different ways. This theory proposes that love is composed of three distinct elements: emotional intimacy, commitment, and passion. The latter two components are considered less stable and predictable than the former two. According to Sternberg’s theory, humans can love each other to the extent that they exhibit evidence of two or more of these components. However, different combinations of these components will produce different kinds of love. In this way, there are at least eight types of love.

83% of Voters See Crime as Important Election Issue

Ridgewood NJ, most voters believe violent crime is getting worse and expect the issue to be important in next month’s midterm elections.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 62% of Likely U.S. voters believe the problem of violent crime in America is getting worse. Only 11% think the crime problem is getting better, while 24% think the problem is staying about the same. These findings are almost unchanged since April. Election Integrity: 61% Say Issue Is Very Important

Ridgewood NJ, preventing cheating in elections is a priority for voters, who expect the issue to be important in next month’s midterm elections.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 84% of Likely U.S. voters believe the issue of election integrity will be important in this year’s congressional elections, including 61% who expect it to be Very Important. Just 13% don’t think the issue will be important. In August, 80% of voters expected election integrity to be an important issue in the midterms. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
