30 NEW JERSEY NONPROFITS INCLUDING HEALTHBARN IN RIDGEWOOD TO RECEIVE $17.5 MILLION IN GRANTS FOR PROGRAM SUPPORTING RESTAURANTS AND FAMILIES IN NEED

Ridgewood NJ, The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) today announced plans to award grants totaling $17.5 million to 30 nonprofit organizations including HealthBarn Foundation in Ridgewood through Phase 3 of its successful Sustain & Serve NJ program. Sustain & Serve NJ provides eligible entities with grants to support the purchase of meals from New Jersey restaurants that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and the distribution of those meals at no cost to recipients. The additional $17.5 million in awards announced today brings total program funding to $52.5 million.

Ridgewood NJ, Deeply Rooted. This is my new venture, consisting of pop up plant shops, until I can find my brick and mortar retail location and retire in a year or two!

Additionally, if any of you have a business location or know of one that would like to host a pop up, I’m looking to do about one a month. So far August and October are booked, in Ridgewood locations. I’m mostly interested in Glen Rock, Ho-ho-kus, Allendale, etc, but I’m open to other towns!

Tesla’s New Pothole Avoidance System

Ridgewood NJ, residents of Ridgewood are going to love this ,Tesla’s 2022.20 update enables Tesla vehicles to scan the road ahead for potholes and adjust the suspension for rough roads. The feature can be activated by selecting ‘Comfort’ under the Adaptive Suspension Damping setting. It will not affect Autopilot or Full Self-Driving, meaning that vehicles won’t try to automatically steer around or avoid road damage. The update also includes a green light chime for vehicles equipped with the hardware 3.0 computer.
