Paramus NJ, after a two day manhunt Paramus Police report that Dennis Meenan has been located at Bellevue hospital. The Paramus police also wanted to thank you everyone for their assistance.
Paramus Police requested the public’s assistance in locating a missing person: Dennis Meeman, a 56 yo white male. He left Paramus Park Mall around 415 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. He was last seen by the west entrance by Urban Coal restaurant .On November 23, Police Helicopters were brought in for the search .

Ridgewood NJ, yesterday was small business Saturday and once again the Village seemed under enthusiastic for the Shopping day that focus directly on the types of business that the central business district pretends it represents .The Ridgewood chamber did virtually nothing .
The Ridgewood Guild’s Winterfestook took place at 12:00 at Memorial Park , with great performances by Orpheus Men’s Chorus and Ars Musica. There were Ice sculptures, horse drawn hay rides, trackless train rides, arcade games, complimentary hot chocolate, marshmallows and more under the Raymond’s tent and lots of elves!
There was a nice crowd some holiday shopping from Mango Jam, Love Handles, Rock Road Jewelry, Dparz Shoes, Gigi’s Boutique, and Hot Jewelry Box. At lest some small businesses participated. The Guild did a great job.
So the question often comes about , when your asking taxpayers to lay down some money for a parking garage , is don’t you think a bit more enthusiasm exhibited for “small business Saturday ” might be in order?
Beware anyone who PREACHES civility. If Jan Philips is any indication, those who PREACH it do not practice it. And Jumpin Jeff Voigt, oh my gosh, he is busy trying to be kind and soft-spoken but we have seen his dark side, his outbursts, his evil doings, nope, not buying it. And they are both in the school of Aronsohn, not a school from which anyone wants to earn a degree.

When the mayor tried to consider legal ramifications, Jeff Voigt and Jan Philips went after her with cries of bigotry. It is a conversation ender. Just horrible.

Ridgewood NJ, This year the Village Christmas tree will be so much more meaningful ,and reminder of a friend who is no longer with us. This years tree came from Nancy Schuh . We caught he quote on Facebook and thing it truly captures the spirit of the season .

Tom Youmans and his daughter Kim Youmans help put up, decorate and light the village tree every year. This past May, my best friend, Tom Youman’s wife Bj passed away after a valiant fight with breast cancer. This tree I dedicate to Bj Youmans and all those keeping up the fight. “

It was something generated by the pro-development crowd last time and it simply had no basis in fact. And, as more than one person asked in response to these false arguments, are “you people” in favor of overdevelopment saying that diversity is only achieved through sub-standard housing?

Ridgewood NJ, Twenty Three Ridgewood Taekwondo athletes faced a major challenge at the Garden State Championships, which drew over 300 competitors from the tri-state area on November 5. The results were stellar: 30 Gold, 11 Silver, and 5 Bronze.
Taekwondo All In, an instructional school for the Korean martial art, continues to establish itself as a premier school for the sport. The school received the “Best School” designation at the New Jersey Tournament several years running.
Youngmin Kim, a Taekwondo master and head instructor noted, “We have an amazing group of kids at Taekwondo All In. Their dedication and hard work is truly inspirational. Our goal at the school is to teach our students not only the martial art, but life lessons on grit, focus and hard work, which will benefit them in all aspects of their lives.”

Ridgewood NJ, The adult male driver of a Jeep Cherokee involved in a two (2) vehicle, head on crash in front of 424 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood on Tuesday evening, 11/21, was in full cardiac arrest when patrol officers arrived at the crash scene. The victim’s seat belt was cut, he was placed on the ground after being removed from the vehicle, and officers immediately began performing CPR. The victim was transported by a Ridgewood EMS ambulance to The Valley Hospital where he was reported to be in grave condition. A tow truck removed the Cherokee from the crash scene. Ridgewood Fire Department personnel also responded to the incident. A Heroin overdose is the suspected cause of the crash.

Ridgewood NJ, Several uniformed and plainclothes members of Ridgewood PD escorted a freshly cut Evergreen tree from a home on Grove Street, Ridgewood to the municipality’s Central Business District where it was lifted into place by a crane and will be decorated to serve as the Village’s 2017 Christmas Tree. The escort detail was executed under the direct supervision of Ridgewood Police Patrol Division Sergeant John Chuck.

Ridgewood NJ, In addition to the revenue drain associated with commissions being paid out by the Village’s Parking Utility to Parkmobile USA, the introduction of the mobile parking payment app has resulted in the hiring of additional Parking Enforcement Officers. This because none of Ridgewood’s police officers have been issued, or trained on, the software that is now required to issue parking tickets at any locations within the Village where Parkmobile is accepted for payment.

Ridgewood NJ, The iconic Sycamore tree at Graydon Park is now scheduled for removal during the first week of December. Crews from the Village’s Shade Tree Division will be removing the tree at that time unless a certified arborist, yet to be hired, determines that the tree is healthy and should remain standing. The tree had originally been scheduled to be removed during the month of November, but scheduling delays pushed the date back.
