Expect 4-7 inches of Snow Through Tomorrow Evening

Ridgewood NJ, a strong storm system will bring moderate to heavy snowfall and strong winds to much of the area tonight through Saturday. Winter Storm Warnings are now in effect for most of the area. Blizzard Warnings in effect for eastern Long Island and southeast CT. Winter weather advisories for Lower Hudson Valley. Storm Warning now in effect for the ocean waters and eastern LI Sound for Saturday .

The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING , it REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 PM EST SATURDAY…Heavy snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Portions of northeast New Jersey and southeast New York. From 7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Saturday. Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
