Ridgewood NJ, all New! Live Virtual Format! Friends of the Ridgewood Library 31st Author Luncheon will look a little different this year and will happen online via Zoom. We look forward to resuming our in-person Author Luncheon in the spring of 2022.
EVENT AND TICKET INFORMATION
This fundraising event is online this year via Zoom webinar. Tickets start at $25 and include one (1) Zoom link, which will be sent in a separate email closer to event date. Approximate running time is between 1 and 1.5 hours.
Our Silent Auction will also be virtual! Items and bidding will begin a week prior to the event via the “Handbid” website/app. More information to follow.
An optional Greek-themed snack box is available for purchase with your ticket. The snack box, courtesy of longtime Author Luncheon sponsor Kontos Foods, includes a variety of Mediterranean dips, cocktail flat breads and baklava. The snack box must be picked up at the Ridgewood Public Library (125 N. Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ) on the Monday or Tuesday prior to our Wednesday event, between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. (Deadline to order is April 7th.)
Books by Madeline Miller (Circe and Song of Achilles) can be purchased separately through Bookends, Ridgewood’s local bookseller, at www.book-ends.com, and all books will include an Author Luncheon bookplate signed by Madeline. ABOUT THE AUTHORS
MADELINE MILLER Madeline grew up in New York City and Philadelphia. She attended Brown University, where she earned her BA and MA in Classics. She has taught and tutored Latin, Greek, and Shakespeare to high school students for over fifteen years.
