Glen Rock NJ, Saturday March 27th at 1:10 p.m. Glen Rock Police Patrols were dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Waldron Avenue. Upon arrival a Prospect Park woman recounted that she was driving south on Maple Avenue when the vehicle in front of her stopped short to yield for a bicyclist. The woman was unable to stop in time and struck the vehicle. The vehicle. described as a grey VW Atlas, fled the scene south on Maple Avenue.
The woman, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, was transported by ambulance to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, and her vehicle was towed from the scene. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident, and is able to provide further information, is asked to contact the Glen Rock Police Department at (201) 652-3800.
