Paramus NJ, on Friday March 26 approximately 1 pm a Grey Toyota (?) stopped short hitting a BMW on Oradell Avenue between Pascack Road and Forest Avenue, the BMW drivers says the other driver slammed on his breaks then sped away from the totaled BMW.
The Ridgewood blog seems to reporting a lot of these lately ,”Hit and Run” is the crime of a driver of a vehicle who is involved in a collision with another vehicle, property or human being, who knowingly fails to stop to give his/her name, license number, and other information as required by statute to the injured party, a witness, or law enforcement officers.
You run when you don’t have insurance or don’t have a valid license.
From now on we can just call them undocumented drivers.
I thoroughly recommend getting a dash cam. They are inexpensive and will save you a great deal of money when it comes to having proof of who caused the accident. In this particular case, it would have captured the incident and the platenumber. There are also a lot of fake accident where people slam their break on in front of you causing you to rear-end them. They immediately have a car full of people with “neck injuries”. Without dash cam proof, you will automatically be held liable.
DUI epidemic.
legalization of marijuana epidemic
The useless empty raised muni Garage in Ridgewood was a hit and run ( as in
Run away politicians ) who for most part took off for better opportunities
While taxpayers left holding the bag again
Forget about promises of new housing users..
We never- ever learn taxpayers..
We have been Had again ..
The dash cam is a great idea. Mine is forward looking only so it doesn’t capture video in the event of a ‘McGreevy’ accident. However generally the vehicle in that position is usually at fault.
Re: Dash Cams:
