Ridgewood NJ, despite soaring gasoline prices, a majority of Americans still don’t think electric cars are practical and aren’t interested in owning one.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that only 32% of American Adults believe electric cars today are practical for most drivers. Fifty-two percent (52%) think electric cars aren’t practical, while 16% say they’re not sure. Those findings are little changed from October. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

  3. its just libtard virtual signalling… they are ‘coal powered cars’>
built with batterys in coal powered factories in china
with dirty mining with child labor in poor countries for minerals
or countries like russia that have the minerals
and where does electricity come from….
if you don’t rely upon a solar panel on the roof of the car, you are relying upon electricity generated by clean natural gas, nuclear, coal or oil.

  4. If everyone in the United States drove electric cars it would collapse the electric grid across the entire country. Build the infrastructure, get the purchase price down below that of gasoline powered vehicles and people will have no problem buying them. Well except for anyone that doesn’t have a garage with an electrical outlet, anyone in an apartment without a garage, and quite a few other people actually. Doesn’t really make sense to push for electric vehicles for the masses at this time. It’s not feasible.
