Its not a good place to die in.
Inheritance/estate taxes are massive unless you pass along the $$ to a spouse or children.
So you cant leave $$$ to a ‘partner’, friend, neice or nephew without getting dinged 17% of the estate
People without children really get screwed here. Not only do we subsidize your childrens school taxes, but when they put us in the ground they want 17 percent of the estate value.
Just another reason to ‘exile’ to Florida for 181 days a year so NJ doesn’t pick your pocket when they put you in the ground.
They make a big deal about the estate tax that affects very few, but they don’t mention the inheritance tax which eats up a lot of the estate if things are not planned properly.
it effects every homeowner in Bergen County
NJ number one worst state to live in..
Fixed it for ya
The state is OWNED by the democrats
And the results are we are going in the shitter
This is due to the elected officials and those they appoint.
My recent MVC letter shows the top 3 in charge.
Gov. Beaver teeth, “Tahesha’, and “Latrecia”
Thats all you need to know.
Yup, really sad. Not just MVC, everywhere.
