Apline NJ, A Sunday evening search for a missing woman ended in heartbreak at the Palisades Interstate Parkway. On May 3, authorities confirmed that a 35-year-old Brooklyn woman passed away following a devastating fall at the State Line Lookout in Alpine, New Jersey.

Alpine NJ, Alpine Councilman David W. Kupferschmid has announced he has switched parties from Democrat to Republican. This changes the make-up of the governing body to five Democrats on the council, a Democrat mayor, and Kupferschmid as the lone Republican councilman.

This ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Department, under the direction of Chief Steven Shallop.

The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and the Alpine Police Department under the direction of Chief Matthew Kent.
Alpine NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of TYSEAN WARE (DOB: 1/08/2003; single; unemployed), currently incarcerated at Morris County Jail; DAVID CURETON (DOB: 2/02/2003; single; unemployed), currently incarcerated at Monmouth County Jail; OLAJAWAN DAVIS-FLEMING (DOB: 2/17/1996; single; unemployed) of 783 South 12th Street, Newark, NJ; KHYREE LAWRENCE (DOB: 12/02/2003; single; unemployed) of 26 Eaton Place, East Orange, NJ; SHAQUAN WHITE (DOB: 10/20/2002; single; unemployed) of 74 South 13th Street, Newark, NJ; and ALI HALL (DOB: 10/28/2001; single; unemployed) currently incarcerated at Essex County Jail, on charges of burglary, theft, attempted burglary, weapons offenses, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, and conspiracy. The arrests are the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.
Hackensack NJ, the Bergen County SPCA is reporting that in the past week, at least 8 German Shepherd dogs, thought to be related, have been abandoned throughout northern New Jersey. One such dog is Shelby, rescued by RBARI this past week after being tracked for days in Closter, then trapped by Buddah Dog Rescue and Recovery. Two other shepherds were rescued while running on the Palisades Parkway in Alpine, four more were found in Woodland Park, and one was found abandoned in Wayne. There are reports of sightings of at least 3 others possibly connected. None of the dogs have collars, tags or microchips, and all are very frightened, suspected to be the victims of backyard breeding.

The suit alleges that on Sept. 7, 2018, Maryana Beyder was enjoying a meal at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest when a waiter spilled red wine on the pink luxury handbag, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for the FBI’s Newark field office said that a “suspicious letter” had been mailed to an Alpine address on Sunday — the day before White House counselor and Alpine resident Kellyanne Conway said that she had been mailed “white substances” at her house and has been assigned Secret Service protection.
“The FBI along with our law enforcement partners responded to a suspicious letter in Alpine, New Jersey” on Sunday, Doreen Holder, the spokeswoman, said on Wednesday.
