State Board of Medical Examiners Revokes License of North Jersey Emergency Room Doctor Whose Alleged Conduct Resulted in a Patient’s Death in 2017

Wayne NJ, Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Consumer Affairs today announced that the State Board of Medical Examiners (“the Board”) has permanently revoked the medical license of a North Jersey emergency room doctor for alleged conduct that resulted in a patient’s death at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey, in 2017. The Board became aware of the incident when the patient’s mother filed a complaint against the physician in 2022.

Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police Department is investigating another shoplifting of alcohol from the Glen Rock Bottle King. The above individual took several bottles off the shelf and exited with the liquor. The suspect entered the passenger seat of a 2016 white Infinity Q50 which was being driven by another individual. This vehicle is registered to a business out of Wayne, NJ. The suspect was confronted by a store manager as he was entering the vehicle. The vehicle fled in a reckless and dangerous manner from the parking lot.

Wayne NJ, Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal announced that the owner of a Paterson-based school bus company, its manager, and the company were indicted today for allegedly providing false information to school districts in connection with contracts to cover up the fact that the company hired unqualified drivers, failed to conduct mandatory drug testing and criminal background checks for drivers and aides, and operated unsafe buses, all in violation of contract terms and state requirements.
