It appears the dog run was closed for social distancing .Social distancing is a set of nonpharmaceutical infection control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease like COVID 19.

Ridgewood NJ, “County parks budget being used for something else? This is the first thing many people see when driving westbound into Ridgewood. Council, can you complain? ” , readers continue to express their dissatisfaction with the condition of the Bergen County Wild Duck Pond.
The dog run formerly referred to as ‘bark park” seems to be popular despite claims of nasty aggressive dogs , but the over all condition of the pond has many residents very concerned . Crossing from Paramus heading up Ridgewood Avenue , the Bergen County Wild Duck Pond is the first impression any one gets of Ridgewood and what they see is a dilapidated ,rundown park.
