Ridgewood NJ, in the Saddle River County Park Wild Duck Pond the dog run formerly know as “bark park” is currently closed . It appears the dog run was closed for social distancing .Social distancing is a set of nonpharmaceutical infection control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease like COVID 19.

The dog run formerly referred to as ‘bark park” seems to be popular despite claims of nasty aggressive dogs , but the over all condition of the pond has many residents very concerned . Crossing from Paramus heading up Ridgewood Avenue , the Bergen County Wild Duck Pond is the first impression any one gets of Ridgewood and what they see is a dilapidated ,rundown park.
