SADDLE RIVER, NJ – Heads up, drivers! Bergen County crews will begin a major roadwork project on East Allendale Road starting Monday, July 21, 2025, that will bring temporary closures and detours to the area.
Ridgewood NJ, according to the Ridgewood Police Department ,Grove Street will be closed Wednesday 6/18/25 from 8AM to 4PM for utility work. Traffic is detoured between Prospect Street and S.Van Dien Avenue , expect delays in the area and plan an alternate route if possible.
Upper Saddle River NJ, the Upper Saddle River road resurfacing program will began on Friday, 5/16/2025, and will continue for approximately two weeks. Various roads throughout the borough will be milled and paved during the project. The hours of construction will be approximately 7:00AM – 4:00PM Monday through Friday. Parking will be prohibited on the affected streets during these times. Police officers will be assigned to assist with traffic control during paving operations. Saddle River NJ, Saddle River Police Department Traffic Alert – Saddle River- East Allendale Road– Today April 8th, 2025 – 7:00AM – 8:00PM
The Upper Saddle River Police Department will be closing Lake Street between West Saddle River Road and East Saddle River Rd on Tuesday, 4/8/2025, between the hours of 7:00AM and 8:00PM. We expect significant traffic and delays in Saddle River from this project. Morning and afternoon school posts will be affected by the volume of vehicles expected. Plan ahead and leave extra time for your trip.
Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Water’s project to install new water mains in the area of the Eastside Reservoir and future site of the Eastside PFAS Treatment Facility will begin tomorrow, April 1st, and is expected to be completed in approximately six weeks. The work will take place from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays. Road closures,( East Saddle River, East Glen and Van Emburgh ) and detours will be in place. Please allow extra time when traveling in the area.
Twp. of Washington NJ, on Tuesday December 3, 2024 Pascack Road will be closed from approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the area of Ell Road due to a sewer line tie in for new construction.

Montvale NJ, the Garden State Parkway Southbound entrance ramp on Grand Avenue will undergo temporary closure commencing November 15, 2024. The NJ Turnpike Authority has scheduled ramp maintenance from approximately November 15, 2024, through July 2025, with the closure in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Ridgewood NJ, October 28th, a contractor for Bergen County will begin work on Ackerman Avenue in preparation for milling on October 29th and paving on October 30th. The work will begin at 7:00 am at the intersection of Godwin Avenue, and continue down Ackerman Avenue toward South Broad Street. Detours will be in place. Please build extra time into your schedule if you will be driving in this area.
Fort Lee NJ, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has announced that the left lanes of Route 1&9 and Route 46 will remain closed in both directions until Thursday night due to emergency drainage pipe repairs. The closure is expected to impact traffic for several days.
Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, please be aware that North Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus is closed between Blauvelt Avenue and Hollywood Avenue, due to a small sink hole in the road. Please use an alternate route.
Glen Rock NJ, attention Glen Rock residents and commuters! The NJ Transit railroad crossing for the Bergen County Line on Rock Road will be closed for construction for a week, starting Thursday, August 1, 2024, and lasting until Thursday, August 8, 2024, weather permitting. The Glen Rock Police Department has provided detailed information about detours to help navigate around the construction zone.
Wyckoff NJ, the Wyckoff Police have reported that Grandview Avenue is closed in the area of Fox Hollow Road due to a large tree and several power lines down. Please avoid the area and follow the posted detour. PSE&G is on scene for the repair. Wyckoff Police and Fire are on the scene.
