Ridgewood NJ, The long-vacant Town Garage property in Ridgewood is finally undergoing transformation after sitting dormant in the downtown area since 2007. Mayor Paul Vagianos recently confirmed that after the Village took ownership in October, demolition was completed, and environmental remediation is now underway—at the expense of the prior owner. The Environmental Remediation at the Town Garage Site in Ridgewood Continues to Make Progress

Ridgewood NJ, the environmental remediation at the Town Garage site  at 120 Franklin Avenue and at the corner of North Walnut Street Parking Lot (132 Franklin Avenue) is moving forward. According Village Manager Keith Kazmark, seven fuel tanks have been removed from the parking lot, and material from the Town Garage property continues to be excavated and removed by the previous owner.
