Paramus NJ, Paramus Police were searching Friday for a suspect they say robbed the Citibank at 700 Route 17, northbound, near the Fashion Center shopping mall. According to police the suspect entered the bank at about 1:48 p.m. Friday and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash from a drawer. The pilot on flight 2292 radioed around 1:00 p.m. CST and said that the unidentified object was flying right on top of them, according to a transmission recorded by Steve Douglass on his blog, Deep Black Horizon. American Airlines verified to Fox News that the transmission is from flight 2292.

The bank is within a block of the the Ho-Ho-Kus Police station and the robber then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash .
