FBI Reports Huge Increase of over 300,000 More Cyber Crime Complaints in 2020 than 2019

Ridgewood NJ, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center has released its annual report. The 2020 Internet Crime Report includes information from 791,790 complaints of suspected internet crime—an increase of more than 300,000 complaints from 2019—and reported losses exceeding $4.2 billion. State-specific statistics have also been released and can be found within the 2020 Internet Crime Report and in the accompanying 2020 State Reports.

Route 17 CitiBank Robbed in Paramus

Paramus NJ, Paramus Police were searching Friday for a suspect they say robbed the Citibank at 700 Route 17, northbound, near the Fashion Center shopping mall.  According to police the suspect entered the bank at about 1:48 p.m. Friday and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash from a drawer.  The suspect then fled on foot toward the Fashion Center mall, which sits across a parking lot from the bank.

American Airlines Passenger Jet Reports Possible UFO Encounter

Roswell NM, the FBI is not responding to a UFO sighting in New Mexico on Sunday. An American Airlines passenger jet traveling from Cincinnati to Phoenix encountered an apparent UFO over northeastern New Mexico Sunday afternoon.

The pilot on flight 2292 radioed around 1:00 p.m. CST and said that the unidentified object was flying right on top of them, according to a transmission recorded by Steve Douglass on his blog, Deep Black Horizon. American Airlines verified to Fox News that the transmission is from flight 2292.

Valley National Bank in Ho-Ho-Kus Robbed in Broad Daylight

Ho-Ho-Kus NJ, on Wednesday afternoon around 2pm a heavyset man , about 5 feet, 7 inches, wearing a back wool cap, a black and gray North Face jacket, blue pants and red sneakers entered the Valley National Bank  on Sheridan Avenue and passed along a note demanding money. The bank is within a block of the  the Ho-Ho-Kus Police station and the robber then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash .
