Hackensack NJ, the Crow’s Nest, a family-owned restaurant and pub that has been a fixture of Hackensack’s dining scene for nearly a century, is closing its doors. Andreas and Angela Hajiyerou, who have been the proprietors of this enduring 400-seat restaurant and catering venue for the past 31 years, have made the decision to sell the property and will permanently close the establishment on October 24th.

At approximately 8:51 a.m., the Hackensack Police Department responded to a 911 call from CareOne Wellington. Responding officers found 72-year-old Patricia Zaccario and 75-year-old Michael Zaccario (both of Wood-Ridge) deceased with apparent gunshot wounds.

At approximately 8:51 a.m., the Hackensack Police Department responded to a 911 call from a nursing facility. Responding officers found a deceased 73-year-old female victim and a deceased 76-year-old male victim with apparent gunshot wounds.
