Biden Tax Plan Will Destroy US Competitiveness

Washington DC, according to the Tax Foundation if the Biden tax plan is fully implemented,  increasing the corporate income tax would undermine the progress policymakers made four years ago. An increase in the federal corporate tax rate to 28 percent would raise the U.S. federal-state combined tax rate to 32.34 percent, giving the U.S. the highest combined corporate income tax rate in the OECD, ahead of France at 32.02 percent and the U.S. rank on the Tax Foundation’s International Tax Competitiveness Index would fall from 21st in 2020 to 30th, with the corporate rank falling from 19th to 33rd overall.

COVID-19 Pandemic : Magnitude of the Economic Disruption Unparalleled

Ridgewood NJ, according to the US Census Bureau  the COVID-19 pandemic caused a record job losses and transformed the nation’s employment landscape but recently released historical data tables put the magnitude of the economic disruption in clear context.

To get some prospective in 2017, for example, roughly 30 million adults experienced either an end of employment or a reduction in work hours, including both involuntary and voluntary job terminations. But only about 3.8 million collected Unemployment Insurance (UI), which is contingent on involuntary job termination, according to the Census Bureau’s Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP).

Ridgewood Kings to become a Green Way Markets

Ridgewood NJ, today, Monday, is Kings last day open . Green Way Markets are then taking Tues-Weds-Thurs to prepare Green Way’s opening on Friday. The 15,000 square foot store was built in the 1950s as a Food Fair, then taken over by Finast somewhere around 20 years later. Kings moved into the store in 1977 , The store is considered small by todays standards .

The  parent company went bankrupt and Acme Markets, a unit of Albertsons, was the top bidder in a bankruptcy auction for 27 supermarkets operated by East Coast specialty grocers Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lover’s Market, according to a press release.

CBO : 1.4 million Workers Will Lose Jobs Due To Minimum Wage Hike

Ridgewood NJ, CBO analyzes the Raise the Wage Act of 2021 as introduced in the Senate on January 26, 2021. It would take effect on the first day of the third month after the date of enactment. If it was enacted at the end of March 2021, the minimum wage would increase by a set amount each year, starting in June 2021, until it reached $15 in June 2025.

Honeywell International Sells It’s Former Global Headquarters Building in Morris Plains
