NJ State Police Seeking Public’s Assistance with Fatal Crash Investigation of the New Jersey Turnpike

East Brunswick Township NJ, The New Jersey State Police and Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on August 23.

Based on the preliminary investigation, detectives determined that at approximately 10:45 p.m., a White ISUZU box truck 25 feet long was parked northbound on the shoulder of the truck lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike in East Brunswick Township, Middlesex County. In the area of milepost 78.8, a collision occurred with an unknown tractor trailer that fled the scene.

UPDATE: African American Republican Councilwoman Gunned Down in Her Car in Sayreville

Sayreville NJ, a Middlesex County African American Republican councilwoman was shot and killed in her car Wednesday night on Samuel Circle in Sayreville.

According to Republican Chairwoman Karen Bebert, Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was the victim who was shot and killed. Bebert worked on Dwumfour’s campaign and says she is “heartbroken.”
