Paramus NJ, E3, E1, Rescue, Paramus Police, Paramus EMS all responded to a Motor Vehicle accident today on Route 17 North by Kalisa Way . One person had to be extricated from the truck. Route 17 North had to be shut down for a short period in order to upright the truck.
Paramus NJ, The New Jersey State Police have arrested Cashovey McCallum, 20, of Newark, N.J. and a 17-year-old juvenile male from Irvington, N.J., for allegedly robbing and assaulting an Uber driver on the Garden State Parkway in Paramus .
On Saturday, August 3, Saka Akinkunle was working as an Uber driver when he picked up two passengers in Irvington Township, Essex County. Shortly after getting into the car, the passengers requested to change their destination. Akinkunle advised them to enter the new address in the Uber mobile app. The passengers stated that their cell phones were dead and requested to borrow Akinkunle’s phone. While the suspects had the driver’s cell phone, they made an unauthorized electronic funds transfer from Akinkunle’s Uber account into an unknown account.

Teams from services including Patient Admitting, the Surgical Suite, Same Day Surgery, Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, Diagnostic Imaging and Emergency Services, met for a 5-day, hands-on “3P” workshop event (Production, Preparation, Process). During the multi-day “3P event,” the teams created and tested potential designs. This included designing layouts to scale, building full-size room mock ups, and testing the flow of patients, visitors and services throughout each area!

Actor described as an Asian male in his 20’s, short, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, face mask and sunglasses. Actor brandished a handgun demanded money from the registers and attempted to have employee open the safe. Actor fled via rear door of Dunkin Donuts.
Barely 15 minutes later, Paramus Police reported similar incident at their Dunkin Donuts, actor had a matching description.

Paramus NJ, A Bergen County, New Jersey, man was arrested today for his role in conspiracies to commit health care fraud and to bribe a doctor, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.
Eduard Shtindler, a/k/a “Eddy,” 36, of Paramus, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and one count of conspiracy to pay illegal kickbacks to a doctor. He is scheduled to make his initial court appearance today before U.S. Magistrate Judge Leda Dunn Wettre in Newark federal court.

The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti, the Paramus Police Department under the direction of Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg, the Hackensack Police Department under the direction of Officer in Charge Captain Peter Busciglio, and the United States Postal Inspection Service, Newark Division, under the direction of Inspector in Charge James V. Buthorn.
Paramus NJ, Paramus Police, Paramus EMS, and a paramedic team from Hackensack University Medical Center responded to aid an adult male who either fell, jumped, or was pushed from the Garden State Parkway northbound overpass of Midland Avenue, Paramus onto the pavement below. The incident occurred on Monday morning, 07/22. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Paramus Police are currently interviewing witnesses in connection with its investigation of the incident.
