Prof, Po-Shen Loh is a math professor at Carnegie Mellon University and the national coach of the USA International Mathematical Olympiad team. He will be visiting the Ridgewood area on Tue, May 9 to give a free public math talk.

Paramus NJ, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of NAJE BRABSON (DOB: 5/04/2004; single; unemployed) of 172 Lawrence Place, Paterson, NJ on charges of distribution of controlled dangerous substances and resisting arrest. The arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love.

Paramus NJ, Paramus Road in Paramus was closed in both directions between West Ridgewood Avenue and West Midland Avenue for an extended period on Monday, 03/27. The closure was resultant from a crash in which a pickup truck severed a utility pole across from the Paramus Food Center at approximately 0830 hours. The pickup truck’s driver was uninjured; however, his truck was totaled and removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Paramus Police responded along with crews from PSE&G’s Electric Division.
