Theranos Founder Scamster “Woke” Darling Elizabeth Holmes Sentenced to more than 11 years in Prison

Ridgewood NJ, “Woke” darling Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of shuttered blood testing company Theranos, was sentenced to 135 months, or 11 1/4 years, in prison on Friday for defrauding investors. The sentence falls short of the maximum possible punishment for Holmes, who faced as many as 20 years in prison. Holmes has been ordered to serve three years of supervised release after the sentence. Holmes offered a tearful apology before the judge issued the sentence, quoting the poet Rumi, “Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”

Garbage Piles Up in the Central Business District

Ridgewood NJ, another garbage problem in Ridgewood, behind the old Post Office building a garbage container was left over flowing with garbage . Word is the shared garbage container’s bill has gone unpaid .  The Village may remove the garbage and charge the owners . We have reported many similar issues over the last couple of years with over flowing garbage containers in the central business district .

NJ Transit Will Advance Seven Programs Including Bus Garage Electrification In North Jersey, Solar Bus Shelters, Electric Mini-Buses, Microtransit Shuttles and Bike Sheds

Ridgewood NJ,  NJ TRANSIT and the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) today announced the programming of $43.6 million in federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) funding to seven NJ TRANSIT projects which advance sustainability, bus garage electrification and first/last mile transportation solutions.  The funding will be made available to NJ TRANSIT as part of NJTPA’s Fiscal Year 2022-2025 Transportation Improvement Program.

Many advertisers have left Twitter due to activist pressure, resulting in a massive drop in revenue for the company. The level of “hate speech” on the platform remains within historical norms, what ever that means .

Multi-vehicle rollover crash snarled morning rush hour traffic at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Grove Street in Paramus

Paramus NJ, a multi-vehicle rollover crash with entrapment snarled morning rush hour traffic at the intersection of Paramus Road and West Grove Street, Paramus on Tuesday, 11/08. One (1) driver was extricated from his vehicle by Ridgewood firefighters and transported, with non-life threatening injuries, to Hackensack University Medical Center’s main campus by a Paramus EMS ambulance. All other reported injuries were minor in nature and those victims refused medical aid. At least two (2) vehicles were removed from the scene by tow trucks. A Glen Rock Police unmarked SUV sustained minor damage in the mishap.
