The Village of Ridgewood Loses Another Shade Tree

Ridgewood NJ, a tree toppled over on John Street between East Ridgewood Avenue and Wyndemere Avenue were blocked until the fallen tree was cleared. The Ridgewood Police cordoned off the area . No Injuries reported .

Passenger Car Strikes Two parked Vehicles in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, one (1) summons was issued by Ridgewood Police  in connection with a Saturday morning, 07/16, crash that damaged three (3) vehicles, when a moving passenger car struck two (2) parked vehicles in the 300 block of East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood. Two (2) of the damaged vehicles were towed away by a flatbed. No injuries were reported. Distracted driving was said to have been responsible for the mishap.

Driver Flees After Collision with Tree in Ridgewood

Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police Patrol Officer Brandon Donnelly investigated a late Wednesday night, 07/13, single vehicle collision in which an unoccupied Jeep Wrangler was found crashed into a tree on Wyndemere Avenue near North Pleasant Avenue, Ridgewood. Several witnesses to the crash reported that a seemingly uninjured adult female fled the abandoned vehicle on foot headed toward nearby John Street. A person of interest was located less than a block away, at the address to which the Jeep was registered. No arrests were made in connection with the crash. However, four (4) motor vehicle summonses were issued by Officer Donnelly to the suspected driver. The Jeep was removed from the crash site by a flatbed tow truck. The tree survived the hit.

Well, it’s a newly popularized social work-order contract between an employer and you. Over 43 million workers left full-time employment alone in 2021 and what did these unemployed people do? Baby-boomers retired, many became freelancers/gig workers, demanding job flexibility like working from home, and lastly, others quit due to debilitating emotional trauma caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
