Former Ridgewood taxi stand -Reserved parking/loading zone for new tenant

Ridgewood NJ, an ordinance to establish two (2) reserved parking spaces and a loading zone for the new tenant of a former Ridgewood taxi stand was recently introduced by the Ridgewood Village Council.

The cart before the horse – “Reserved Parking” sign erected on Ridgewood street prior to Village Council approval

Ridgewood NJ, a sign denoting two (2) North Broad Street diagonal parking spaces as “Reserved Parking” was erected prior to Village Council members approving the concept, and well before the official adoption of an ordinance that would permit enforcement via issuance of summonses to violators. The two (2) spaces are located adjacent to a Village owned building that once housed a taxi company.
