We have arrived at a that poor place ..just look up and down to the shoddy roadways and it is looking like
RIDGEWOOD As we knew it -and invested in the form of time ,efforts & cost to maintain nice homes and paying high : school & local /state taxes -is well on its way to another cheesy mess of a poorly run town.Roads are also a disgrace,

Time to get out..sadly..Last one please kick the last can of
regrets over onto VOR CITY HALL/ship of fools .

unlikely anyone there gives a damm about anything.

NJDOT: Route 17 Lane Closures Starting Monday in Ramsey

Ramsey  NJ, New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials today announced a shoulder closure on Route 17 with daytime lane closures as a concrete repair project begins in Ramsey, Bergen County. Beginning at 9 a.m., Monday, February 3, NJDOT’s contractor, IEW Construction Group, will close the shoulder on Route 17 in both directions for concrete pier cap repairs to the Spring Street overpass near the Ramsey/Route 17 NJTRANSIT station.

This closure is anticipated to remain in place for approximately one month. The left lane will be closed in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. Two lanes of traffic will remain open in each direction during these daytime closures. Motorists are advised to use caution and slow down in the work area. The work is part of a larger $19 million state-funded maintenance project to repair and upgrade roadways in various locations in North Jersey. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors. Erie Avenue resurfacing project Has Started in Midland Park

Midland Park NJ, according to the Midland Park Police Department  Erie Avenue residents construction has started on the Erie Avenue resurfacing project. Handicapped curb ramps will be constructed at the intersections. New sidewalks and driveway aprons will be constructed in the locations where sidewalks are missing.

Heavy Traffic Expected on Route 4 in Paramus Expected All Week

PARAMUS NJ, Heavy traffic is expected on Route 4 in Paramus starting this coming Monday.

The right lane on the westbound side is closing so that PSE&G can permanently transfer wires from temporary poles to new ones.

It’s part of a $5 million project that replaced the overpass that carries Paramus Road over Route 4.

The work will take place daily until Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ramps to and from Paramus roads will also be shut down.

Glen Rock NJ, Due to milling and paving Main Street will be closed from Rock Road to Bradford Street on Monday 9/16 and Tuesday 9/17. Commuters and CBD Employees who park along Main Street must make other arrangements for parking, the street will be inaccessible during the day. Leave home early, expect delays and plan alternate routes and parking.

Despite a Massive Increase in Gas Tax New Jersey Roads are Terrible

Ridgewood NJ, According to the annual highway report, released by the Reason Foundation, New Jersey once again has the worst urban traffic congestion in the U.S.

The garden state is also among the worst when it comes to urban pavement conditions and that’s despite a massive increase in gas tax and spending more money per mile on road repairs than any other state.

No New Development Until We Fix the Infrastructure

Ridgewood NJ, while the assembly candidate is not from any local districts but his sentiment rings clear in Bergen County .

District 18 candidate for Assembly, Jeffrey Brown called for a moratorium on new residential development projects in the towns that make up the 18th district, until municipalities can better find to ways to manage flooding and mitigate flood damage.  There was widespread flash flooding in East Brunswick, Brown’s hometown, and the surrounding communities following strong thunderstorms on Wednesday.
