Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce 2021 Downtown for the Holidays event was different this year ,due to an abundance of caution over COVID19 the tradition tree lighting countdown was dropped. While many were disappointed over the loss of the tree lighting count down . sources in side the Chamber tell the Ridgewood blog that 2021 was the best attended in years .

Ridgewood NJ, the Chamber of Commerce 2021 Downtown for the Holidays event was different this year due to an abundance of caution over COVID19 the tradition tree lighting countdown was dropped. Planning for the event began mid-summer when there was still a great deal of uncertainty over the virus. The Ridgewood Chamber assures us they looks forward to restoring the traditional elements of Downtown for the Holidays in 2022. If you couldn’t make it Scott Lief did a fantastic job hosting the Downtown for the Holidays TV broadcasting live on Facebook for the event .

It has been said that this is the best night time car show in NJ.
Over 400 cars from all over the USA.
The parking is on a first come basis starting at 4:00pm.
You can still pre-register your car at the cost of $25 until 9/7/17…via phone 201-445-2600 or

on 9/8/17 at the show at $25.
Enter to register on Walnut and Franklin Ave. (across from TD Bank).
You will be given a certificate for your windshield.
NO ONE will be allowed in without a car certificate.
For pedestrian safety, the police have told us
NO-ONE is allowed to leave before 9pm…when they will open the streets.
This is a charity event, proceeds go towards scholarships for kids going to college.
