Ridgewood NJ, Starting Wednesday, July 27, 2016 PSEG will be working on W. Glen Ave. with the large detour in place until Friday, July 29th. Then on either Friday or Monday they will move to E. Glen Ave. working between Maple Ave. and Fairfield Rd. for about 2 weeks. They will start at Fairfield and work backwards.
PSEG will stop short of the firehouse driveway and try to get the work in front of the firehouse/Water/ Recycling yard all done on one day. Please know that during that day there will be very limited and sometimes no access to those driveways.
After they complete the gas work on E. Glen Ave., they will return to the work on W. Glen and that includes starting off with the large detour for about 5-7 work days. And will continue west until they reach Monroe St.
To clarify, while working on E. Glen Ave., W. Glen Ave. will be completely open.

East Ridgewood Ave will be closed Between North Maple Ave and Broad Street starting at 4:30PM for the Downtown for the Holidays-30th Anniversary Celebration. Expect heavy traffic delays surrounding the business district due to the road closures.

East Ridgewood Ave in the central business district will be closed beginning at 4:30pm for the chamber of commerce fall car show.
Ridgewood NJ, The Annual Fall Car Show, presented by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce, will take place on Friday, September 11h, 2015 from 6:00-9:00pm. Don’t miss this FREE chance to stroll through Ridgewood’s historic, bustling downtown area, filled with 400 cars from the years 1930 to 2015! This year, the Car Show will take place around Memorial Park at Van Neste Square and on E. Ridgewood Ave. The Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce 2015 Car Show is dedicated to the memory of those who died on 9/11. A special “Memorial Award” will be given out by Duxiana of Ridgewood. This is the best EVENING car show of the fall! Bring the entire family and take your picture under the huge American flag suspended between two hook and ladder fire trucks! Come see the Ridgewood High School Marching Band in their first performance of the season. The RHS Maroon Men acapella group will start the evening off with the Star Spangled Banner. Listen and dance to a live band, have dinner at one of Ridgewood’s many restaurants, and see the wide variety of cars, from muscle cars and hot rods to current models and crazy designs
Ridgewood NJ, Various roads on the East Side of Ridgewood will be closed starting at 7:30am for the Memorial Day run. Main roads including Linwood Ave E.Ridgewood ave E.Glen Ave and Franklin Turnpike will be affected. If your planing to travel through town plan an alternate route to avoid delays.
The Garber Square paving project is scheduled to resume on Monday, August 25th. The work will take place 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. During construction, vehicles will be able to use alternating lanes (one lane will be closed), supervised by Police Officers. It is recommended that the public use alternate routes during construction to avoid potential traffic congestion. Thank you for your patience.
Ridgewood Police Issue Traffic Alert for Monday June 30th.
Weather permitting, Monday, June 30th from 7:30am to 11:00am, the Village Streets Department will be patching the road at Garber Square. For safety, one lane will be closed during this work. The Police will be monitoring traffic to ensure that the flow in both directions moves. This work is in preparation for the July 4th Parade and holiday festivities. The Complete Streets paving project will not take place until after the July 4th holiday.
