Washington DC, huge pro Trump rally has descended on the Capitol as DC Police and Trump supporters clash .

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) objected to recording his home state’s Electoral College tally at a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, triggering a historic debate and votes in the House and Senate.

The Capitol has now been breached by protesters  and protesters are inside the U.S. Capitol building.  Police appeared to spray mace at some angry Trump supporters who were pressing toward the Capitol on Wednesday as Congress began counting the Electoral College votes to certify the win of President-elect Joseph R. Biden.

Armed U.S. Capitol Police have locked down the Capitol building and evacuated multiple congressional buildings amid increasingly violent protests outside.

Vice President Mike Pence was taken from the Senate chamber.

Wildwood NJ, The unintended consequences of the Trump rally that you won’t hear in the liberal New Jersey media.

The restaurant I went to on both Monday and Tuesday was ecstatic about the rally. The owner was wearing a Trump pin and said she was a Trump supporter and even more so now after this week. The restaurant was packed solid for two nights and brought a much needed “shot in the arm” during the winter dull-drums. The waitstaff couldn’t be happier. Many hotels also were booked solid. A boom to Wildwoods Economy at a time they need it most.

Wildwood N J, welcome to New Jersey ,Tucson police officer Brandon Tatum attended a Trump rally this past weekend to try and make up his own mind about the candidate, and the video he made describing his experience there has gone viral on Facebook. Tatum, a former supporter of Ben Carson, said he was shocked at the “verbally violent” protesters who he said treated him “like a criminal,” and that the Trump attendees were not initially adversarial with them. “These people were the most hateful, evil people that I’ve ever seen,” Tatum said of the protesters, while he found the Trump supporters to be restrained.

Wall Street welcomes Trump with a bang

That didn’t take long. An overnight panic in global markets evaporated as Wall Street gave an emphatic welcome to President-elect Donald Trump.

The Dow soared 257 points and brushed up against lifetime highs on Wednesday, in defiance of those who predicted Trump’s election would bring about a plunge in the stock market. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose 1.1% apiece.

The impressive market performance represents a dramatic reversal from the knee-jerk panic in global markets overnight as the results were coming in. Dow futures plummeted nearly 900 points at one point as investors expressed fear that no one would emerge victorious and concern about the inherent uncertainties brought on by a Trump White House.
